wowzers...one more week of june

I sit here in the UT library on a Sunday because that is what the cool kids are doing now-a-days! Actually, Brendon is a nerd and is working on some paper and here I sit - goofing off on the internet. Geez - I am surrounded by all these intelectually stimulating things that are often called books, and I opt for the i-net! So cool I am!

So I am being a posting whore and double posting this entry on my LJ and blog. I do believe I told the world of LJ about my recent employed-ness. Yes yes, double take - I have a job! I will be moving to Houston at the end of the week...CRAZY! I was never really all too excited about living in Houston, but I am trying to go into this with an open mind. Perhaps I should reflect upon some good ol Dave Matthews- "It's not where but who you're with that really matters." Good gracious, I am awful at blogging and have come to the oh so obvious conclusion that I should probably do away with my blogging activities at once.

Anyhow - my last week in Seguin will consist of packing up my things once again (I just did this when I moved off campus a month and a half ago) and watching the kids for a few more days.

I went car shopping yesterday. Can we say EXPERIENCE. Geez, I had such a headache after that. It is a daunting task and can also be quite stressful. I narrowed my search down to the Passat and the Mazda 3 or 6. I think I am going to end up going with a newer Passat - this decision was, of course, reached after much deliberation. I really don't care for the bodystyle of the new passats, but perhaps I can grow to love it. It rocked inside, and that is cool!

My face is breaking out like a gosh-damned teenager. It blows. I think I have some serious self image problems on some days.

whirlwind

i have been sick and throwing up all day - i think it is pei wei's fault. Boooo. Pei Wei has never been one of my favs, and the only reason i went there is because Gabe and Hannes love it. Never going there again.

I have been around kids nonstop for the past 6 days. I think I am going to go insane. I can't imagine being a mother one day and being around kids nonstop for God knows how long. I have not had any me time and it is seriously not good for my health. ME ME ME ME ME, yea whatever, it is all about me at this moment. When I feel this shitty, most things go!

I drove to Ft. Worth yesterday because my sister and bro-in-law are out of town for ten days, and my mom is here with the kids. I felt bad for her and thought that I could help out a little. Before I came here I was with the two children that I babysit for. I had them by myself for 2.5 days. Pretty much going in sane.

Lets see - Hannes has pooped a little on the couch since I have been here, spilled cereal all over the kitchen floor, hours later spilled an entire pitcher of apple juice on the floor, wrote on the wall with marker, and plenty more.

My mom is amazing - I don't know how she does it. I can't wrap my mind around having 4 children - especially spaced out over time. geeeeeeeeeez. i am so not selfless right now.

i have really been missing england lately
i am supremely jealous of all the Americans that got to stay for the whole year
