the update you have been waiting for ;)

Dear readers
Sorry it has been so long since I have updated, not much has been going on in my life. I will, however, do what I can to alert you of the mundane events that take place in my life each day.

Usually I wake up between 6:30 and 7:00 each morning. I first get into the shower to attempt waking myself up, and I also wash the mop on my head. After drying off and putting my PJs back on, I make my way down stairs and pour myself some coffee, the best invention of all time. I add some creamer and sugar and head back upstairs to get ready while watching Scrubs (currently watching season 1 again, but I have 5 like totally memorized). I then head to work – whether it be meeting one (of two) reps for a ride-along, or going to the pharmacy for study time. After work I usually work out, write a report, eat dinner, sometimes watch tv, sleep, and do it again..UNTIL THE WEEKEND!

I do love the weekends. I don’t necessarily live for them, but they are welcomed with open arms.
This next week we will be done with the biggest part of our training. Yipeeeee. Prob mid week Misty and I will start calling on doctors. That is exciting, as it puts us out of the pharmacy and into the field. Yipeeeee.

This job has definitely shattered some of my notions about this line of work. I was really a little apprehensive about what my role as an outside sales representative would encompass, but my fears have been mitigated, for the most part. We are actually not on the same level as a majority of sales reps. We do not go into offices with samples of stuff and attempt to get the office to use blank product. Instead, we are selling a service – use our pharmacy for your compounding needs. We are also considered consultants on some level. Our job is to educate the doctor and his staff on what is new, what other docs in the field are using, and of course…letting them know that we can provide it for them at very high quality. Essentially, I have learned a lot about drugs, insurance, conditions, yada yada yada.

Enough of that

I am currently watching Big Love, and although the show is slightly creepy – it is very interesting and jam packed with drama. Also – weeds season 3 anyone? I know I sound like a tv junkie and all, but it is mindless, and at the end of the day I usually need something like that.

I tried a new wine that I love - it is called menage a trois. it is really good for the price (roughly 10 dollars).

I am currently reading the novel "French Women don't get Fat: the secret of eating for pleasure"
It is not exactly a page turner or anything, but it is very interesting and contains some good tips and some really easy recipes.

So I joined a gym, right. I love taking classes, this I discovered. Seriously…it is like all you have to do is muster up the strength to go (which isn’t so hard when you feel guilty for spending the money on the membership) and then the instructor makes you do everything. I am loving this 60 minute cycling class that they offer – it can get pretty intense. I also tried Yoga last night for the first time ever. It was love at first introduction. You should try it tonight. Yes, tonight!

What else...hmmm...

Misty and I will be moving into our apartment the second week of September. I purchased a mattress, which was number one on my list of things to have before moving into an apartment. Buying furniture is a hassle, just thought you should know. That is the bad thing about living on campus all throughout college - you leave with absolutely no real big kid furniture. It will all come though, this I am sure.

Anyhow, a shout out goes to all of my pals that are getting ready to leave home for amazing adventures, or those who are already settling in to a new life.

lovehug
